Mixed experience. There seems to be a self-perpetuating cycle of showcases where the tickets are mainly sold to other dancers so those in the showcases aren't really getting exposure. Sometimes it seems that the owner plays poor by asking for donations while after showcases it is said that he goes on overseas trips for himself. Please decide for yourself what you think of that. There are amazing teachers and students and jammers who I've learnt so much from! Although when I was going through anxiety and it didn't seem like I was keeping up with the teaching another teacher outside looking in said something along the lines of "I'm glad I don't have to teach het". But the teacher who was teaching me actually talked to me about my issues outside of class!! I've actually recommended xo to some friends who want to dance 🤗 and I love how they teach k-pop!

Dancekool held a dance class for a Hens Night, and we had such an amazing time. The studio lights were dimmed to make it a bit like a nightclub, the instructor was fun and the routine and steps she taught us were a barrel of laughs! The class was so good that a number of the ladies said they wanted to sign up for it ongoing - unfortunately for them this was a one-off J-pop lesson! Such an amazing time, and a huge thanks to Dancekool!

I cant thank them enough for being so professional and fun! They were the life of the party. My friends had so much fun watching and interacting in the performance. Terrible, wrong behavior of one your staff member. Went there with my fiancee to learn dancing and left immediately after the second class with pure disappointment. Certain staff member believe flirting with a client (my partner) is a sense of great behavior, well it is not! Was asked to change partners during a very intimate dance lesson and when I kindly denied it was shouted at with: "You are creating a bad mood for everyone and a bad vibe and you know you are doing something wrong!". Because I did not want a stranger to touch my partner on the lower back? Very, very insensible and rude behavior. If you like to change partner or let strangers touch your partner go and visit this school.

It was my first time taking dancing lessons. My girlfriend introduced me to the place and, I was amazed at how accommodating the teacher was toward his students. I took the Wednesday Contemporary class by Vi Lam and i was really inspired by him. He put humour into the practice. He was stern, but he makes sure that we are all here to have fun. And it was fun! Would definitely go again :)

I went to the first free class of zumba and really enjoyed. After 1 week trying to contact the owner by e-mail or at the school and the teacher didn't know how to proceed for payments/membership, I signed the papers to start The membership 2 weeks ago. But before it starts, I was told at work that my shifts are going to change and then I asked to not be charged as a member, but obviously to be charged of the class I went to was ok. 2 days later I was charged 65.35 aud without any explanation, and the memberships are 19,95 aud/week. I've been asking the owner to explain why and he al ways answers He wants to talk by Phone, which means that I won't have how to prove I'm right. I'm busy at uni and work and cant keep spending time with something that is clearly wrong. So I was charged completely wrong and apparently won't have my money back. Definetely I do not recommend. Just an update :He is still charging me as a member, even after all these messages and complains. Now its more than 140,00 aud.

Had 3 classes with Benny for my wedding first dance, he was so friendly and patient. The greatest thing was we can pick the song we like and Benny will design the steps accordingly. It was great experience because my partner and I both not good at dancing.

This review is from a instructor point of view. I needed to find a place to teach my mini trampoline classes ((BOUNCE)) as I had some trouble in another studio. Benny was amazing in seeing me with such short notice and organised everything so quickly that within a week I was able to change studios. This studio is just amazing! It has a high ceiling (with lots of jump we would need it), you can control the sets of light you want on, there’s lots of power points around the hall so you can connect disco lights (or other things), mirrors for end to end, aircon, fans and a very friendly manager willing to help you at anytime. If you are looking for a place to hire this is the place. Just love it! :)

Both my daughters (9 years - dancing for 5 years and 5 years - dancing for 2 years) dance in this studio. They love every aspect of dance and the diiferent styles on offer. They now compete in solos, duets and groups which requires further commitment and training which the girls love doing. Initially it was challenging for my older daughter (as well as my younger daughter) as the routine, activities and exercises was foreign and new to them. Overtime they both have grown competent, strong, flexible, artistic, developed strong relationships with other students and respect as well as developed strong work commitment and importantly more confident young girls. I would never leave my children alone with any of the staff here. Both my children left in tears today after their trials. My 7 yr old had her feet stamped on by the teacher (who had shoes on) as a method to force them to try harder. She told another child who couldn't stop crying that 'you always fricking do this when it's too hard for you'. She used put downs as a way to toughen the kids up. The owner physically yanked me hard by the arm as I was saying goodbye to my 5 year old. They were so cold and rude and mean that I'm shocked there hasn't been more complaints. I didn't see any children smile or enjoy themselves. Actually, neither did the teachers. But they do have a lot of trophies in the foyer if that counts. I feel sick that they were physical with my child while I couldn't see her as the door was closed. I definitely don't recommend this place for any kids just wanting to do dance for a fun activity.

MDA is a fabulous dance school. It caters for students wishing to dance in a variety of styles at a competitive level, and my younger daughter really loves being part of the prize winning eisteddfod groups in Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary and Ballet. We have done a trial at another place and Mosman Dance Academy is outstanding in comparison! The classes are the perfect balance of learning new steps and practice. The classes are fun and everyone makes you feel very welcome. Latin Motion is a very friendly dance studio, both teachers and students alike. There are several styles to choose from and all the teachers have been fantastic. Classes run on multiple nights, so you don't have to worry about missing out if some days don't work for you! I love the flexibility of the schedule and the fact that there's always something new to learn from every teacher. I'd definitely recommend LM to anyone who's thinking about putting their dancing shoes on!

Highly recommended: Learning from instructors that have won awards on stage, judged performances and teach with passion inspires me to be like them one day. From the moment you enter LDA, the entire experience as a dance student is strongly centred on nurturing you in a positive, friendly and fun environment as part of the LDA family. The students support each other and cheer their fellow performers regardless of your competence. I have made friends, learnt dance and most importantly am having fun. It's a fun learning environment where everyone respects each other as equals. This leads me to the training methodology at LDA which is focused firstly in making sure you have fun. I can attest to the following words of the LDA director Nestor which I paraphrase: It's okay to make mistakes as that's how we learn. Everything we do we do with confidence even when we get it wrong. I often can't see the instructor's feet, so don't feel I've got the basic steps down nor am I keeping up with new steps. It's frustrating, as it's otherwise great - a fun class and a great workout.

Danceworks Sydney is an amazing school and Olivia is an absolutely amazing teacher! Every little detail of the technique is addressed with a thorough academic approach. When I'm at Danceworks, I feel like I'm at a professional ballet academy: Olivia diligently goes through every single detail, thoroughly corrects and explains every single mistake with a set systemic approach to every class. It's the first school in Australia, where I was asked to keep a notepad of my mistakes and corrections to be able to work on them continuously. I have made so much progress within a year of attending Olivia's lessons! The classes preparing for RAD exams are my favourite ones, because they allow me to set tangible practical goals and provide an opportunity for development at an academic level and depth. I have tried out quite a few ballet schools to see what they're like and this is by far my favourite one. I travel from the Lower Blue Mountains every week just for this class and it is definitely worth it. It's fun and structured and I like that Olivia takes the time to do corrections and not to rush things (especially since I am a beginner). It is obvious that she's very knowledgable about ballet and it is very much appreciated!
