John is wonderful with the dogs and when we bring them home it's as if they had never left. They're playful, vibrant and in a great mood overall. Very happy with the level of expertise, professionalism and care and would recommend this service to anyone thinking of having their dog obedience trained. Our dog is a young rescue dog who due to his past had issues with anxiety, pulled with lead walking, jumped and had low weight gain. John and Tula were responsive to his needs and understood his behaviours. As a result our boy is settled, has gained weight and is a happy dog who can now be walked with little effort and is much more confident in his new home. We were grateful for the support provided with the obedience training and these guys have a wealth of experience that assisted us to work with our dog and be responsible owners. Extremely happy with the service and quality of training provided by John. I left my cavoodle for the 4 week obedience training course and my dog was a completely changed dog. Wow!! What can I say!?! Our experience with Affinity Dog been nothing short of incredible. Christian really is a miracle worker! My husband & I thought that constant cuts & scratches on our hands & feet was going to be the norm for a very long time. Not only has the biting / nipping ceased, but so too has the jumping. Christain is an amazing calm gentle man. His ability to calm,and train,dogs is just magic. He completely changed my little hypo dog who use to walk me down the street and would not do as she was told at all to a calm well behaved dog who follows all the instructions I ask of her. What would I recommend about Affinity Dog Training? Everything! Christian is AMAZING and we highly recommend him to everyone! We brought our 18 month old American Staffy, Kiki, to Christian to help guide us to handle her better and I am so thankful that we did! Kiki is very loved and gets away with murder, but we just needed assistance with making sure she listened and to stop her howling when we went to bed! Christian taught us some amazing techniques and so much more! We learnt how to use tone, how to walk her without being dragged down the street as well as calming her down around guests. We went for the 6 week training course and it is by far the BEST money I have ever spent!!! Before training with Christian our rescue dog Zeus was impossible to walk on the lead, and beyond over exited around any animal with a heart beat! He's come such a long way! He no longer pulls, and is learning that being calm and relaxed around other dogs will get him everywhere in life! It was the best decision for us and Zeus to invest in some professional training, we're all happier for it! I'd recommend Christian to anyone needing help with some challenging dog behaviours.

Bailey is a three year old border collie x kelpie rescue who was very playful and placid as a pup, but we never took her to puppy school as we have another dog of the same breed but older who obeyed every command and figured Bailey would learn from her - poor girl suffered from our actions. While she knew how to sit and be polite in house, most of the time, she was a handful outside. As soon as she turned two y/o her temperament changed and she became very aggressive/reactive to other dogs (on and off leash), over excited/happy with children, birds and anything with wheels, extremely strong pulling on leash and unpredictable when off leash. She became too much to handle off leash and pretty much on leash as well - until Christian arrived. He saved our pup and our tempers! His method is straight forward and easy to follow and manage. We now have a happy dog and some calm happy owners who LOVE to walk her again without any drama along the way. We had six sessions with Christian, and even after the first one or two there was a dramatic difference in her behaviour. We cannot recommend Christian enough!!

We had our German Shepard do obedience and guard dog training and he’s perfect. They always offer to get him to come back if we are having trouble with commands. We recently sent our Rottweiler for obedience training and while with all dogs it takes time, we have seen a significant change in the way she reacts to commands. We also use their boarding services and never have I ever had a problem when I return to pick them up. Highly recommend these guys. Absolutely worth it.

Over 10 years ago the team trained our German Shepherds. One has since passed but the other is such an amazing dog and so obedient still. We have dealt with both Fred and Ali and couldn't be happier. Every time we travel we trust no one else with our boy and when he sees the van he lets himself in. They are a brilliant team and so kind we know they get the best care there.

I highly recommend this facility I extended my three dogs stay by 10 days Due to relocating to a new home Grumpy old escape artist Sherlock, Reckless water loving Roo and our very gentle Tiger were in care for just under six weeks All staff were helpful,professional and courteous . The care with which my dogs were treated was obvious. Each staff member discussed my dogs individual personalities and knew them well My dogs were excited to see us on collection but all were happy clean and at ease with the staff One of them went through some general training And put on 3kgs (looking the best she ever has) They all have settled extremely well in our new home I will definitely be using this fantastic facility in the future Thank you all Lou 😊

Anyone that owns a puppy/dog must send them to these guys for training, you will be so thankful that you did. These guys are amazing, I sent my 8 month old American Staffie named Felix there for two weeks training and he has returned a brand new dog that is very obedient and thank god he no longer pulls on the lead when walking. He weighs over 25kg so I was certain no one could fix the pulling, but the guys at Guard Dog Training Centre did their magic and there is no more pulling. I can't thank you enough, it was worth every penny...

Very professional, friendly and full of knowledge! Our little dachshund was reactive to people walking in our apartment, he basically didn't let anyone in, he used to bark and go crazy. After a home visit Dom gave us advice and homework, we followed her instructions and put the hardwork (remember there are no quick fixes, patience and love is all you need!). He is now so focused on the training that does not even pay attention to people walking into the apartment and after they are in he is friendly and happy. Another thing that we really love about Dom is her positive reinforcement methods, you work as a team with your dog, he learns to trust you and love you, so what motivates the change in behaviour is love and trust, not fear to punishment or physical consequences! Thank you so much Dom.

Dom has been so amazing for my dog Haku and I. She has a heart of gold but is also so in tune with dogs and dog behaviour. There were so many things that I wasn't seeing with my boy and couldn't figure out why certain things were so hard to train and my techniques just weren't working.
