Went to watch the Australian Open and had a wonderful time. The weather was great (minus the smoke), the course was looking really great and quite challenging for some of the players. Would definitely recommend.

love this golf course. After a huge dump of rain the night before but it was not even evident when we played the day after. The staff is super-friendly. Oh, and the men's locker room! Full disclosure I did not play but went to see the Aussie open. The course was in fantastic condition given the lack of rain over the past few months. I would recommend a game if you can get on! The least impressive is a constant noise you will need to cope for the duration of the entire round, from the adjoining highway. Have a game there to check out, but don't rush - there are much better choices in Sydney.

Lovely club, never overly crowded. Always great food and friendly service. Nice place to get together for any occasion or just to relax and have a meal. Nice views in the early evening of the sun going down on the golf course.

If you are looking for a function room in Syd West this is a good place. Located in a golf course area, ambiance is classy. Desserts are great. Though their entree's sliced roasted pork with noodles is a bit chewy and dry.

My school used one of the function rooms here for our Year 6 fareweel this year. The service was satisfactory, no issues there. Two of my colleagues ordered a vegetarian dish, which did not go through due to an error on our end. The venue was able to produce an alternative in a timely manner. The venue in itself also had a nice atmosphere for the event. The only things I feel like could be better are the parking situation (it is very limited and you'd most likely have to find street parking, especially since there was another school doing their Year 6 farewell on the same night too). The food could be better as well. I had a chicken schnitzel that night and the chicken just tasted... not like chicken. Some of my other colleagues described it as being dry. The dessert was a little better though. Overall, a nice place to hold functions due to the atmosphere of the place but some things could be better.

Played in the open comp a few weeks ago. Beautiful golf course. Its in good nick and is a challenge for an average golfer without being incredibly difficult. One thing I was surprised by is that the greens keepers will drive their lawn mowers right up to the green while you are putting. I waited for one to go past and then he came back to within 20 meters of me while I was trying to putt. They also don't give way to golfers at all. Aside from them I highly recommend.

Awesome course thats among the best I’ve played with fairways & greens in immaculate condition. The layout is challenging with unforgiving water hazards & a multitude of large bunkers but there’s also some wide somewhat easier fairways to hit as well. $75 per head mid week for 2 people with a cart is a touch expensive but it’s a brilliant place for a hit so no complaints. Excellent pro shop, the clubhouse food is quality & the One Fifty Lashes pale ale on tap hits the spot.

After parking, short walk down to the pro shop to check in. Get a golf cart on a promo under $70 for 2 balls with cart hire plus 2 drinks. Bargain ! It's short of 5 star coz some of the course are bit too short. Careful as there are some course cross over. Nice scenic and lots of nature ducks around the course area. Tee of 8am and finish all by 1.30pm or so. Will go again next time. Friendly staff and patrons in playing in the field.

Exceptionally nice course with a clubhouse that’s perched atop a valley with sweeping views. I found Chatswood to be an interesting & fairly difficult layout to play but it’s also great fun. I like that there’s lots of sloping fairways & a variety of terrain & hazards. Stray shots are often punished here because there’s plenty of unforgiving dense bush along the fairways. The 10th hole is a beauty, you tee off from a ledge outside the clubhouse down to a brilliant picturesque fairway that’s protected by a a dam & a couple of decent bunkers on the left side. The other hole of note is the one where you tee off under a huge arch which my mate Gez’s ball hit much to our amusement. We walked our round but it’s a decent workout so we might hire a cart next time.

This review is not about the golf club side, but for the venue as a place for holding a dinner event. The events staff were very helpful in accommodating our large event. The evening went off without a hitch and the meals were very tasty and well presented. Really fun golf simulator/driving range. You actually (simulate) play on famous golf courses. Seemed like it would be tacky, but was genuinely quite fun. Putting is very difficult and frustrating though, and seems like a time sink. Good to be able to have some drinks while playing too. Note: you pay by time, so don't have too many people on the same course

The greens are an absolute mess here. Firstly it seems no one ever repairs the green after they land on it. Grass is dying or just non existent. Such a shame. Fairways are not much better either. Grass is either dead or saturated and I know the golf course sits on a former tip but the amount of rocks on some fairways is not pleasant. I had high hopes returning to my old stomping ground of a golf course. Maybe the back nine is in better shape.

One of the best public courses in Sydney. Friendly guys in the pro shop. A good test for the average golfer. There are 8 par three's but they don't make the course any easier as they are counteracted by the rest of the course. The greens are in excellent condition and vary in size to complement the holes. Well worth having a hit.

Friendaly staff and an affordable course. 9 tales roughly 90min to get through with a partner. Some challenging holes, relatively short but much longer than most the courses in this area. No par 5s but ypu can definately get the woods out on 4 or 5 holes. Definately go check it out if you want to try a new course out in the area at a decent price.

This is a short 9 (or 11 with 2 alternate greens) hole golf course. Facilities are quite dated, but acceptable. Fairways and greens are adequately kept - bearing in mind it's not a pretentious club. Some of the par 4's are quite short and are driveable in one if your a longer hitter. Its generally not hugely busy, so if your after a quick 9 hole game it's worth a visit.

Good little par 60 course that hugs the Cooks River & a couple of my wayward tee shots found the drink easily. It’s not a long layout with mostly par 3’s but it’s quite hilly in places with a couple of blind tee shots & sweeping views at the top. The 18 hole walk is still a decent workout on a sunny day & there’s also motorised carts available. The pro shop is more than adequate & the clubhouse is basic but friendly with Asian food $12 lunch specials & just the regular beer options on tap.
