"The Con". For a building that had gone through different lives, as Governor Macquarie's first Sydney residence to its demise with only the Stables left. It's a tribute to Colonial Gothic Picturesque style. The original Conservatorium High School commenced in 1919. It's an easy stroll to the Royal Botanic Garden, Circular Quay and the Sydney Opera House. There's street parking or public transportation nearby. Great place to check for their seasonal programs when students do public performance. An atmosphere of sheer delight and excitement and elegance all roll into one memorable experience.

They listen and give you the answer that you need also help you in anything when you need it. In AMPA , you will make a lot of friend from different backgrounds. Other than that , you get to learn and perform different kind of music style in every trimester with different people. This is why I choose AMPA.

Matt has been teaching my daughter drums for the past 4 years. She loves her lessons and is always keen to go. Matt has a quirky sense of humour and is really encouraging. I’m amazed he has been able to teach her to keep such a great beat (she is not a natural musician) and I feel it has helped her development in so many ways. All age music, is a great school for any age, ability and confident level. Once through the doors you are welcomed with smiles into a wonderful family and creative environment. As an adult going through some changes in my life I gave these guys ago and I’ve never looked back. I went from no confidence and unsure if it was right to try, to having an amazing world opened up to me. The school not only teaches with fabulous instructors, they hold concerts both in and out of the studio, workshops, social evenings and the support and encouragement to try things outside your comfort zone.
