I was attended by Warren and he took the time to make many different tests to provide the best possible solution to my issue. You can tell he is passionate about making sure to improve your eye health. Boutique optical were wonderful. In fact amazing customer service. I had 2 pairs of Expensive Celine prescription glasses that I had purchased in Paris. I didn’t want them replaced due to the prescriptions that were additionally expensive multi focals. When I went back to the manufacturer they couldn’t help me however the wonderful Celine shop manager Miriam bought my glasses to Boutique Optical in Sydney. (I live in Perth so I could not get across) Boutique optical quoted me a price to fix them, offered to repair them for a reasonable sum and I had them returned within a fortnight. $630 frame, broke in 2 months after I bought, sent them to repair, not returned after 4 months till today. I just want to ask you Andrew, where is my glasses and when I can get it back? Why you lied to Fair Trading saying you told me it would take 2 - 3 months to repair the glasses? Let's go to the Tribunal then.

Very bad experience. Being told by a friend that they have cheaper and wide range of frames I paid it a visit. There were 3 Asian looking clerks there, 1 gentleman and 2 ladies. I waited for a while and was served by one lady. I asked a few questions, she was ok at first, but got a bit impatient in about 10 minutes, maybe my questions is too basics to them, and I was not getting their point quickly enough. Then when I was still talking to her, another lady stopped us and asked her to do something else. I watched them. The other lady then asked me, "do you have other questions?" I asked them, "are you busy?" The other lady said "well I need her to get some tools for me." I said, "OK, I can wait." Then I started to look at the frames, and suddenly found that they had begun to serve other guests, coming later than me. I stood there like a fool. It's about 5 minutes but I got really disappointed, until the male clerk noticed my embarrassment and asked me what he can do for me. He talked to me, checked my eye test report, and gave me some suggestions. Thanks to him, but I decided not to buy anything at it. I don't understand what make the two ladies (especially the latter one who stopped me) so proud, probably because I was wearing casually and wearing a backpack, which made me look less profitable to them. By the way it's not a very busy shop, when I left there were totally 2 other guests when I left.

I totally agree with Kyle Ngai, my friend had a job trial in this shop before, she was told by the other assistants that if the customers dress casually and dont have any luxury or designer brands with them, they don't expect customers like that have the ability or willingness to truly buy their glasses, so they usually don't serve this kind of customer with enough patient if they are busy or tired.

I have been a regular customer over the years here – they have a friendly and skilled optometrist, and the shop manager Andrew has always provided great service – can recommended them (and he’s another great kiwi!). He has helped chasing up parts for my glasses and repairing them -my farmless Porsche Design (avoid them like the plague!) like their namesake sadly needed regular fixing. I have no hesitation recommending them.

I’ve bought a few pairs of glasses at baileys before because i truly think their frames are great and have been a fan of them for a while. However, this all changed when i recently entered their George St store in search for some new sunnies. I had my eye on some sleek black frames but after some cajoling by one of the staff, she convinced me to get the metal frames one instead which she insisted looked and suited me better. I wish i just stuck to my gut instinct instead. We all knew that my eyes are terrible and that the lens would need to be shaved down and i was ready to pay for it. However, she never told me that the lens could not be shaved down as much as they normally could for this particular metal frame that she recommended. As a result i ended up with a metal frame with massive lens that not only gave me a headache the moment i wore them, but were heavy and looked ridiculous! The lens were double the thickness of the frames - that’s ridiculous!!!! I had to ask them to shave the lens even more and paid more but even that it didnt work. I am now stuck with sunnies that i will never wear now cause they look ridiculous! That staff should have bloody known better than to have recommended those frames to me in the first place! As much as a love Baileys, this has sealed the deal for me!

Way too noisy for comfortable service. small and inadequate range of frames . could not manage to get full benefit from my health fund as every other provider has for last 12 years. most staff seemed vague and uninterested. atmosphere was unprofessional. seemed like I had walked into local drug dealers house rather than a professional health provider who was undertaking Medicare funded services.

Really happy customer here. They've got top quality product, amazing service, really quick because they have the equipment in the shop so they don't need to send somewhere else, and on top they are really nice guys. Just comparing, I needed to replace the lenses in my prescription glasses, somewhere else I was given a price and they needed to keep my glasses for 5 days. Well, Eyecare Plus Optometrists ordered the lenses, which were in their shop for the next day, I then left my frames there and in 90 mins Andrew had them ready with the new lenses, cut to the shape of my frame on site and perfect. Not only top quality lenses and amazingly quick compared, but also the price was HALF the one I was given in the other optometrist. I couldn't ask for more. Thank you!
