I spent 6 weeks at this practice as a final year Optometry student on placement and had a fantastic experience filled with some very interesting patients. The optometrists are very thorough and really care about their patients. Dania is amazing with patients and I’ve learnt so much from her and everyone else there. Highly recommended!

Poor customer service. I went inside the store, the young woman saw me from her chair in the hallway didn’t greet me at all. I kept looking around, she came to the counter table, still didn’t say “Hello” or something. I just LEFT. You lost your business there. Thank you for your staff “good” customer service!

You can get glasses n contact lenses dispensing services here..... Please be aware it's also part of the arm of the optometry school of the uni....IE final year students may be involved in yer dispensing...But guided by fully qualified optometrist s of the undergraduate program

He has the most wonderful bedside manner and nothing is a problem. We cannot speak more highly of this practice. The negative review posted on here could not be further than the truth. The staff DO CARE about your child.

The centre has on-site parking and a ramp to the entrance (good for strollers/prams). Staff were friendly and helpful. Dr Flaherty was very thorough and approachable. She took the time to fully explain everything and answered all of my questions. I have no hesitation in recommending this practice.

The staff are always friendly, which is welcome considering it is such a busy centre. The front office staff are so very rude . You wait for ever to see the dr for hours everytime you go and you feel rushed in the actual appointment but if you miss an appointment they will ban your child from having another appointment knowing your child needs help and that there is not any other child specialists in western sydney. I have offered to pay the missed appointment fee but was basically told bad luck ,Mistakes happen dates can get forgotten when you are booked months in advance with the clinic not txting or emailing a reminder. . Its a silly policy which effects children , mistakes happen but to fully reject from seeing a child is poor form .

We wouldn't trust our children's vision to anyone else. We have had a long, and at times difficult journey with both of our children's vision over many years. We could not recommend Dr Flaherty and The Children's Eye Centre more highly. Dr Flaherty is wonderful doctor and surgeon who has been willing to work with the us (the parents) and to collaborate with other medical professionals in our son's treatment. He has incredible vision, despite the complexity of his condition, because of Dr Flaherty and The Children's Eye Centre. Every member of the staff at the centre have always been professional, understanding and empathetic, knowledgable, and accomodating towards us.

My mum ( who doesn’t speak English well) came to the clinic to have her tooth checked a few weeks ago and was charged $350 for a filling. She came home and have been in pain for 2 weeks now. Today she found her tooth filling has gone off. I have never been to a dentist and get charged $350 for a filling! Think this is a huge rip off and patient please be aware.

We drive for 4 hours to see Gary. I wear Ortho-K lenses to stop my myopia from progressing. Gary is the best orthokeratologist and optometrist I have ever seen. Gary also discovered that I have a lot of eye strain and I now wear reading glasses and do special eye exercises. Since I have been seeing him, I can see clearly and also have reduced eye strain.

Had an appointment to see Dr Jenny this morning as I had concerns with my vision. I have been to other major chain eye stores for several years and the service has been OK. Dr Jenny at Concord Eyes provides a for more professional and caring experience and spent considerably more time testing my eyes compared to the other major stores. It is easy sometimes to forget about our local businesses but in this case I believe I have found an optometrist I can trust and not one of the stores that are going to continually tell me my eyes have changed just so they can sell me new glasses. They seem no more expensive than your shopping centre optometrists. I highly recommend Dr Jenny at Concord Eye Care. Just to top it off, they opened a little earlier for me to help with not being late to work which was a nice touch. I was pleasantly surprised at a great local business providing genuine customer service.

Didn’t know how important it was until I got a new pair of prescription sunnies from OPSM 2.5 years ago and all the tint is already fading away. Never knew that’s even possible!
