We had an appointment scheduled on Thursday morning 7am. The guy shows up at 8.35am. 1hr 35mins late. I needed the house sprayed asap because of my son's allergies. Even when he arrived late. He told me he's equipment isn't charged and is using someone else's van and tools. He should have checked the day before. He apologised and asked me to reschedule to next week and offered a $50 discount and said staff will contact me about it. Still havent received a phone call, msg or email from them. I was lucky to find another company that could replace this guy on the same day! Very unprofessional and do not recommend them!

Thank you Gerard for your great personality and work of ridding us of our termites! We had no idea our home was infested with termites, until one night a large wooden shelf collapsed. The finding and sight of the large amount of termites was shocking and confusing. Obviously we needed professional help. While searching online, we realised there are dozens of pest control companies to choose from, some big names too and thought 'Oh man this is going to take a while', but actually we made our decision very quickly. The reasons for this quick decision is not because Micropest was already one of the first search results and highly rated. It's because while reading the Micropest website we noticed the honesty, modesty and care in Gerard's words on his website. We highly respect honest and genuine people, and was already set on choosing Gerard of Micropest but to be sure we checked the rest of the search results including those big name companies and yes, we surely have confirmed our decision. We found a genuine, down to earth honest professional, not someone who is just all about business, or 'just doing their job'. Gerard is truly experienced and passionate about his work, straight up says what it is without the need to pitch sales or promote unnecessary products and actually cares about his work, people and their homes. We paid a one time payment, which includes two year warranty, he is punctual and will come for regular checks. On top of being honest humble and professional he is friendly and has a sense of humour. You can ask or talk to Gerard about anything and he shows respect and kindness, and gets along well with pets and children. Our termites are now gone, much faster than anyone would expect. Really, after researching that baiting takes at least 3 months up to a year, our termites were eliminated within 3 months. Of course it is good news, but in a way it's a shame that the termites were eliminated too quickly as we won't get to see Gerard as often anymore, maybe once or twice a year as we will continue to stick with Micropest, or unless we intentionally start some infestation :) Thank you again Gerard, it was very good to meet you, honest and genuine people are hard to come by nowadays. For those of you who are reading this while trying to find and compare which company to choose from, my advice is choose the person, not the company.

During a regular yearly pest inspection termite damage was identified for the first time (in our 6 years here) in our roof and the company recommended a $4,500 chemical barrier. A second company inspected but could find no further evidence of damage - leaving us unsure of the status of attack. Having read Gerard's impressive reviews he came and did an inspection yesterday and found and showed me evidence of several sites of old subfloor attack and subsequent repair work, and further provided conclusive evidence that confirmed his initial impression that the damage predated the renovation of 12 years ago. Gerard's keen eyes and long experience proved invaluable in making a professional assessment and saved us thousand's of dollars in unwarranted treatment. I have no hesitation in recommending his services.

I needed to arrange a pest inspection for our strata complex and also needed my apartment sprayed as I had an issue with German Cockroaches. I had cleaned everything but still couldn't locate them. Craig came out and he was super lovely, knew his stuff and got into all the areas he could for the inspection. Then when it came to my own apartment he knew exactly where to look and found the nest on top of the dishwasher. It was hidden so I couldn't see it. They were extremely professional and the best pest company I have ever dealt with. I highly recommend them.

Very unprofessional! They promise a "professional job" till they get your money. I have been promised a prize for two premises and on the day I get a call saying only one and I need to pay extra for the other...receive a phone call from the "receptionist" who in the email clearly wrote that the prize is for both external internal of two premises and denies her own email and the job they do is another major problem. I don't know what external means to them and they left the external area of the "one premise they were supposed to do" absolutely pathetic If you think of going with these guys i'd say think again!

Be warned. They don’t offer a warranty on their services. Paid for platinum service & 4 months later had cockroaches. They blamed the rain. Taking matter further to NSW Tribunal. They are a rip-off. You’ve been warned. In response to owners reply, I don’t know what you’re implying as I have at no stage asked or demanded 12 months warranty. This isn’t realistic. However, if you pay for a platinum service, one would expect a platinum service to be effective for 6 months. Paying almost $400 for 4 months is hardly a platinum service. May I suggest that you revisit your response to Fair Trading and stay on course with regard to being honest or as you succinctly stated - ‘telling the truth’. Thank you.

Don't trust this people They will not attack the insects but they will attack you instead. No warranty for their service but they will always want you to pay another for another arrangements. Then they will do a bad job in the beginning just to get second time coming. Technician is so rude to the women's but, he is as gentle as puppy to muscular big guys. When you make a complain about the technician, even reception will attack you by yelling on the phone. I never had this bad experience in my whole life. This kind of service shouldn't exist!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do not use this company. They promised a service & didn't do the correct job. After waiting a few weeks which they said to do we called back as the problem was still there. The women said she would check the last phone call has they record all calls. When she finally called back she completely back tracked & said we should of known what needs to be done before they sprayed our house so it wasn't her job to tell us those sort of things. Also when the technician arrived we asked if all rooms had to be sprayed he said no, then he said he was only spraying inside the house, outside would be extra. We paid them $300 & the job wasn't completed. We then had to contact another company to do the job that they promised to do! Their website states there is warranty but they wont go through with it because they are only after ripping people off. You should be shamed of yourselves. Now I'll wait for the rude reply blaming us for the problem.

SIMPLY DONT TRUST THIS SERVICE. We sent them out to sprays wasps our electrician said he heard in the roof but found out we actually had termites. Instead of inspecting the whole house and quoting us at another time as suggested by the worker he went and sprayed the termites without our permission and took it upon himself to charge our credit card $1100 instead of $170 call out fee for the wasps. The boss Jeff was rude on the phone and hung up when I informed him of the mistake. Jeff later offered a $600 discount as he knew he made a mistake but still went ahead and charged the card $1100 and stopped taking my calls. I later called Flick and did it the right way and they even stated they saw no evidence of termites even been sprayed as they were alive and well. Do yourself a favour and avoid this dodgy service with at least two liars working for them. Jeff even accused me of being a liar myself to get a cheap job. If that’s the case Jeff why did I later use Flick to get the inspection and spray done again? Strange. STAY AWAY!!!!

Very satisfied with the service! I highly recommend this company. Milad is thorough and works in detail. I had problems with cockroaches for almost a year, trying every product sold in supermarkets. None did the job. He came and after a week, all gone. Also the spray is safe for kids and environmentally safe.
