This restaurant has to be one of the most authentic pizzerias in Sydney. Not a single bite of crust was left on the plate because the crust was perfecto! The sauce was tangy and the toppings were fresh and flavourful. The staff were friendly and setting was smart casual, simple and clean outdoor dining. They offer a good range of soft drinks, beer and wines. The prices are reasonable & I look forward to eating here again!

One of my favourite pizza restaurants in Sydney, the pizza dough is so light and fluffy and the section of pizzas are vast. However the only reason I’m not giving it five stars is because the wine wasn’t nice at all. We ordered a bottle of the house red and it was probably the worst tasting wine I’ve every tried, I couldn’t even finish a glass never mind the bottle. But I guess they are know for their pizza not wine and the pizza is great ! I’m not sure if it’s BYO but if so I’d suggest bringing your own as then you know what your getting, but other than that it’s a great little restaurant.

This is a tough one for me. Best pizza in Sydney is a very big call. This would have to be equal first in my mind. Everything about it screams authentic with an incredibly delicious taste. Pizza base is classically thin and the dough is stretchy.

What a find. Hidden away down an alley near Wynyard station. Its a very small restaurant. You can order take away from the alleyway or you can eat in. If eating in you need to order from the bar. Service was friendly. The pastas are delicious. I didn't try the Pizzas but they looked really good. Will definitely return to try these and other items on the menu. Definitely worth a visit. Great food

This place is currently my favourite go to place for pizza in the city! Their pizzas are thin crusted, and the menu has enough variety to please all my friends that I have brought here. My favourite is the prawn pizza - unlike many other pizza joints they are generous with the prawns which taste fresh and have a good bite to it. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for good pizza and cider.

Made in Italy is a funky little Italian Pizza and Pasta bar in York Lane right above Wynyard station. I've been meaning to try it for ages since I work close by. I got a vegetarian pizza small size for $18 it was quite a lot for 1 person and I thought it was very good. Nice crunchy base and a generous serving of toppings. I asked for less cheese than usual because my friend said he thought the pizzas there had too much cheese, but mine was perfect

Each of the four courses we had were beautifully balanced and tasted fantastic. My favourite dish was the gently poached southern rock lobster, hand caught Tasmanian squid, golden tapioca, lobster velvet - the lobster was poached impeccably. The main course (wagyu beef) was also cooked to perfection and just melted in my mouth. We shared various choices of desserts and they all tasted wonderfully, the Guava snow egg was especially memorable.

Very easy to access from work. And the staff are very quick. Love going to this place. The pizza price is correct and very good. I recommend this place if you want make a stop in a city and have a good lunch during the week. Another thing very good is I never wait to order my pizza always available. That's so good.

GPO Pizza is always a winner. Many business lunches have occurred around these meals! The pizza is made fresh, is always hot and crispy, and is great to wash down with a cold beer! Prices are average, about $20 for a large pizza, but definitely worth it! Staff are amazing and friendly. They always remember us and greet us with a smile - I definitely recommend GPO Pizza for a quick but delicious bite any time you're in Sydney.

Pros (1) Pizza's at GPO Pizza by wood - Pizza Base is crisy. very good feeling. (2) Comparatively fast cooking time, considering a long queue. (3) People working for the shop looks kind. Cons (1) Lunch time - quite crowded. perhaps 12 pm might be a lot less crowded than 12 30 pm. 12 30 pm already there is a long queue (2) sitting dining tables & chairs are not fancy. (3) In general, the price ranges of pizza are reasonable. Small pizza AUD 13.50 - 16.50/ Big size pizza AUD 17.50 - 19.50. The shop looks like a bit fancy take away shop style with some dining tables and casual chairs. Despite this shops' casual style, it appears customers prefer low range prices + good quality pizza, to high range price. For someone who values the quality pizza, this shop is sufficient to enjoy the crispy pizza base, with less greasy taste cheese.

Me and my partner ordered a pizza and garlic bread last week and they both tasted really nice. The reason for my 1-star review however is that we both felt extremely sick in the morning and could not leave the bathroom for hours. I privately emailed this restaurant not asking for a refund or anything, instead suggesting that they should take note of this. I am still yet to receive a reply and working in the hospitality industry myself, any sign of food poisoning should be taken very seriously.

We did pick-up for our team lunch at the office and had to order 10 pizzas, soft drinks and garlic bread. The quality of the ingredients was amazing, everything fresh and tasty. The ratio of tomato sauce, cheese and toppings was perfectly balance. The pizza was hot and really good. The vegetarian options were delicious and the gluten free ones were amazing. Every pizza was great. We highly recommend the place and will be our top of the list pizza restaurant going forward.

Service was poor - >5 delivery drivers receiving their orders while we were waiting. Pizza tasted ok, but for the most part the cheese was not melted on to the tomato base. Had to ask 3 times for the drinks we ordered too. I suppose it is more convenient than dominos on the pacific highway, but I certainly won't be coming back here again.

I ordered a hot and spicy veggie pizza and a large Coke on 27th January for delivery. They forgot to get my coke and the pizza had was is the absolute worst condition, it had no cheese. I had called the store to cancel the large Coke they forgot to deliver but they refused to refund $4.95 for the coke and they said they would send someone to deliver the coke.

Staff member who took our order was rude and abrubt after HE made a mistake. Was very defensive when we clarified our order and when enquiring about prices told us that we were charged a 10% surcharge, but we had already paid and were not notified at the time. Usually before you tap your card, they politely mention that a surcharge will be applied but he failed to do so. The pizza was cold and tasteless, and we received three wrong pizzas but felt we were unable to tell the staff because of our previous rude encounter. When we simply enquired about adding pineapple onto a pizza, he harshly said that the pizza recipe could not be changed raising suspicion that the pizzas are premade and therefore explaining why they were not fresh. When simply ordering a pepperoni pizza, the crust was stuffed with old cheese and the actual base was thin and floppy yet somehow rock hard. You could tap the crust and it sounded similar to knocking on a door. Save your money, time and will to live dominos or even oven pizza are better.

Top notch place for excellent food. Came Friday lunchtime (just opening at this time regularly) ordered fettuccini pasta and a supreme pizza. Both were excellent. Probably the best pizza I've had in Sydney, and at a good price. Highly recommended spot with a lot of space and seating. They also have high chairs for kids.

I cannot recommend this place highly enough! It is hands down the best pizza in Sydney - the base is thin and the toppings are fresh and plentiful (recommend the prosciutto pizza - very yummy)! The antipasto platter is also highly recommended with delicious, fresh cheese and cold cuts and homemade bread sticks which come out hot - yum!

Excellent pizza (thin base, puffy crusts) and vibrant atmosphere in a quiet neighbourhood with ample parking around the corner along the industrial area by the waterside. Friendly and efficient staff. This pizzeria prides itself in being authentically Italian, so you won't find any pineapple here. Their antipasto board for two is delicious and enough for four if you don't want to fill up too much before your mains. One of the best places in Sydney for pizza.

Always delicious and well hospitality service in this restaurant. I go there regularly with my family. I like there pizza, salads and antipasto. Yummy!!! Sometimes you need to make a booking first. It always busy even in winter. If you like spicy you can ask them chilly oil to have with pizza. I just had the white pizza first time here. It was lovely, potato and sausages. I highly recommend. This place is one of the favourite Italian restaurants in Sydney.

ABUSIVE “BOSS” - Pizza OK The “boss” at this establishment is so verbally abusive to the staff, it makes just standing close to this place an unbearable experience. I feel bad about the people who have to deal with this on a daily basis. Not sure if this person is actually “the boss” but when abusing staff always make it clear that he certainly is. I will no longer support an establishment who treats staff in such a demeanour way. Staff and customers deserve better.

Get here early to avoid long waits. There is seating for about 12 inside around a shared table and 4 smaller tables outside. We got there for dinner just before 6pm and got a spot straight away. Started getting busy at 615pm. The food was excellent. We had mushroom chips which were my favorite dish. Stuffed zucchini flowers and a pizza. It was plenty for 2. Pricing is reasonable at 20-24 for a pizza. Highly recommend this place.

I ordered and picked up the pizza as we can’t eat in and I live near the shop. I was very disappointed as I have ordered here before and it has been good. However this time it was not at all... the pizza and garlic bread where not cooked enough which made it soggy and doughy, the rocket for some reason was placed under the cheese and cooked so it was slimy. We added crispy salami to the other half of the pizza and it was rubbery and not crispy at all and there was only 3 pieces added after paying the extra. Wasn’t happy as I paid nearly $30 for 1 pizza and garlic bread that wasn’t edible.

Sells good pizza, has excellent staff, and a cute little fitout. A little expensive? Sure. But is it worth it? Definitely for an easy pizza date night. I'd probably order take away if I was drinking or catching up with old mates; not quite the right atmosphere for that pricetag otherwise! Their special with fresh mozz was a highlight for me. I ordered a couple of pizzas and a drink at 6:40 on a Friday night. At 7:40 the food had not arrived, I called up the manager to enquire my food had only come out of the oven. He just advised that it's Friday and it busy and you have to expect delays. Than 25 minutes later my food turned up. I asked for the manager to call me back at a time of his convenience, he never did. It took them nearly 90 minutes to deliver my food and the food has been going down hill alot in the last few months. Pizza was average at best. I appreciate Friday night is busy, but you have to prepare for that by having more staff on. Will never order from them again.

Best pizzas in lower north shore! Their Chilli Beef pizza and Smoked Salmon Avocado are my favourite. Salads are incredibly fresh and always refreshing to have on the side - add Artichokes!

Had an awesome and fun night with friends because you didn’t have to worry about what to order, the kitchen just keep cooking pizza (thin base) & pasta (when you go bottomless). They will judge how much you can eat and stop bringing out things once you slow down with the food. Good for parties.

Not only is the food great, the service is amazing. Jonny really looks after the deliveries , making sure the orders are straight and delivered quick. Like, lightning quick! I will definitely order from here any chance I get. Try the Calabrese!! So much flavour, and the crust was awesome. They definitely use great ingredients to get that much flavour in a slice. Our 5 year old wouldn’t stop eating the pepperoni pizza, and he’s a super fussy eater. Our new favourite place!

Pleasantly surprise how good this was. Just looking for somewhere to eat locally to where we were staying. Didn't realise if was a $25 set price (all you can eat) so expected it to be average. It was excellent. Pizza base was freshly made, topping were varied & plentiful & served at a perfect temperature. There was also a selection of tasty pasta & gnocchi dishes. Waitress just keep serving till you've had enough. Nice wine list at reasonable prices too. Over all great value. I'll be back.

Wasn't sure what to expect when we walked in but was pleasantly surprised. No need to think what you would like to eat, delicious pasta & pizza kept coming out & you could decide which one you'd like to eat. The sangria was delicious too. Thankyou for a unique experience. Will be back when we are in Sydney next.

Had my mate’s bucks dinner here. They were good to deal with in terms of locking in a late booking over the phone. Manager was willing to let a friend sit in for free cause he wasn’t eating so I appreciated that. Nice vibe, bit “cold” upstairs but still has an authentic feel. Food wasn’t the greatest. We did do the all you can eat pizza/ pasta. Some of us guys didn’t feel to good the next day... and no there was no alcohol involved with this bucks. Overall pretty good experience and worth the price per head

Jonny and the team at Pizza Autentico are the masters of creating amazing food experiences. Apart from loving their traditional thin crust pizza, I’ve also attended their pizza making masterclass which was one of the best cooking experiences I’ve had in Sydney. The communal table downstairs is perfect for dining with friends, or work parties. Jonny makes a superb cocktail too so don’t leave without trying one. The tiramisu is to die for!

Funky place, with a novel and unique concept. All you can eat pasta and pizza and if you want you can include a house drinks package. Unfortunately the pizza is mediocre at best and the pasta is pretty terrible... as are the house wines. But if you go as a group you can have a fun night out.
