Literally just got abused for taking my sandwich back because i found a bug in it as well as hair! I went there and calmly said to the owner, hey just bought this sandwich about 15 minutes ago and found a hair as well as a bug, He straight out said its cracked pepper not a bug i had to pick up the bug and show the wings on the bug and he is like yeah you're right it is a bug. he's like so do you want another sandwich in aggressive tone i said no could i please have refund. he just chucked the $10 at me did not apologise at all! and walked away. i have never been spoken to so rudely for something that was absolutely not my fault. I would not have written a bad review if he just apologised and gave me a refund instead he acted immaturely and aggressively.

I’ve been here a few times for lunch and had the pre-prepared sandwiches which are pretty good. I’ve had the roast beef sandwich which is very nice and the turkey sandwich which I’m not really a fan of - but what I am a fan of is the quick and simple service, and the option to have the sandwich fresh or toasted. The price is a bit steep but it may be due to city prices and the large shopfront they have.

Sandwiches are always fresh, delicious, and generous. It really is a hole in the wall, so you might miss it the first time you try to find it. I recommend ordering online early, to cut down want time, because it gets very busy at lunch. Option to make your own vegan sandwich, including vegan cheese!

4.8 - Great Coffee and I got two pieces of mint chocolate to go with it as well! I waited a bit longer than I expected but it was all good. (They had closed up shop but were still making last minute coffees at 3:30pm when I appeared.)

3.5: This place was kind of hard to find. You'd think a hole in the wall would literally be a shop U might miss but it would still be in the main walkway but it is inside a building. I rang them up to check where their exact location is because the GPS says something off track. Thankfully though a guy must've noticed that I am lost and thought I might just be looking for the shop so he went out and told me where it is. I ordered chicken prosciutto in a multigrain bread and it was good. It was toasted quite well. You can really taste the meat in their and the peppery taste of the rocket which goes well with their homemade mayo. I had to wait much longer than expected though. The staff were lovely and they have a lot to choose from sandwiches, pasta , salads, sweet treats and your much needed caffeine boost. I might try ordering online thru YQMe where you can order it in and your order will be ready in a few minutes.

Good Sandwiches, Good Coffee however Poor salads that are full of Oil. I got pretty sick eating one of their pasta dishes - these a good 3-5 table spoons of oil in a box (pretty gross). Also the Roast vegetables seemed to be stale on a monday.

Delicious New York style sandwiches and hip hop tunes while you wait. ThePhilly cheese steak is my favourite so far. Staff are friendly and helpful. Service is very fast. Check it out.

Haven't tried the food but great coffee! Happy hour $2 coffee 10am-11am and 2pm-3pm, so that's a huge bonus!

I used to love this joint. I ordered one of my favourites The Ritzo today and the quality has definitely dropped. The wrap that used to be filled with chorizo and fillings was half empty and had too much lettuce. For $9 I feel like I paid for lettuce and 2 pieces of chorizo. Very disappointed.

My colleagues love to grab the sandwiches from here. The choice of mushroom, ham, chicken katsu or roast pork is amazing. I prefer the brown rice salad topped off with either of the above options. The menu is minimal but the flavours are great. We usually choose to take-away from this little hole-in-the-wall establishment. The premises may be small but the servings are large and the staff are incredibly helpful. Price is reasonable for what you get. Note: some may find the food a little oily but that is the nature of the filling used.

This place never seems to disappoint, an I truly stand by that point. Every time I come back here the food is always as good as the first time I had it. The proportions are always consistent, the pastrami is super tender and well seasoned, the sourdough is fresh and really holds the sandwich well, keeping all the ingredients in place. This really is a nice little gem for your pastrami fix, awesome service, great produce it’s perfect combination.

The East Coast Reuben is AMAZING. Huge, couldn't finish it. So much meat and great kraut. Fun place to sit in and watch everything bring made. Good coffee too. Friendly service and nice to see a thriving business. Want to try more on the menu.

I had my doubts when I saw "artisanal pastrami" on the sign but this place is the real deal and truly lived up to that statement. We were served by Martin who made us felt welcome as soon as we stepped into the shop. Their East coast and West coast sandwiches are to die for! Out of this world pastrami experiences. This place is a must visit for Sydney.

Another hole in the wall size cafe in Surry Hills. Hidden in the alley way, easily missed if you aren’t in the watch out for it. Highly recommended by colleagues, busy as you’d expected. Very generous serving size, good value for money. Sandwich based.

I'd give negative if I could. The service was extremely bad... The guy added the price wrongly and yelled at me for trying to explain to him what I ordered. I was being very patient but he kept saying what are you complaining about, if you want something cheap just go to MacDonald to get a cheese burger! In the end I couldn't say anything as he kept yelling at me, I just paid what he charged and took the sandwich that he threw to me. It is so far the worst experience I have ever had in any eating place...

This is a hole in the wall hidden gem just next to central station! Definitely recommend it! The sandwiches are cheap and huuuuuuge! He is very generous with the portions. There’s a big bowl of home made schnitzel which always gets my mouth watering whenever I go. The guy also makes his own herb mayonnaise which is delicious and he makes his own sundries tomato too which is also great. Seriously though, the sandwiches are huge. You can ask for one type of bread (can’t remember which one now) and it is the size of an rugby ball. Could not believe it. Definitely worth checking out!

Early morning, the chicken schnitzel wasnt ready but the egg & lettuce with mayonaise was amazing, like all others - the sizing was generous. Note it is cash only, I didnt know and with generosity I am paying the next day. Highly recommend and thanks to the owner for his trust, see you tomorrow!

Vienna Sandwiches is a hole in the wall sandwich shop in North Sydney But they also have a branch in Pitt, Bridge and Martin Place in central Sydney. I bought a premade Mozart Chicken Sandwich which includes poached Chicken breast, avocado, swiss cheese, tomato, rocket, lettuce and lemon chive mayo. It was $9.95 for a decent sized quality sandwich which is well worth the dosh. The taste was clean and balanced with the iceberg lettuce providing the crunch and the mayo adding the needed flavour. Will definitely be back for the other sandwiches!

Pretty disappointing, they have always a massive cue, and I don't understand why. If you are a gourmet of sandwiches don't go there. They are dry, iceberg lettuce (for me too basic) and the other ingredients are very very basic and tasteless. For an $11 Sandwich, you can do much better, specially at lunch time. They are quick though, I guess that must be the reason

I felt a bit adventurous to try a new place for salad instead of my usual place in met centre and was a disaster. This salad looked pretty amazing and i was in love with it until i ate it. It was sooo sour and I couldn't taste anything but balsamic. I just wasted $9.50 😞this place might have great food but not this.

This is one of the tastiest and friendliest health food stores around. The menu varies which is great so there is always a nice variety of fresh, wholesome food that is consistency great. Prices are very reasonable for the quality produce you get. Highly recommend anyone searching for healthy, hearty soul food store to grab breakfast and lunch in the CBD. Sanduba is my morning coffee and a great start to my day. The staff are AMAZING and extremely Friendly. I use Hey You to order my coffee each morning for convenience but it would be amazing if you could add the Toast to the Hey You menu so i can grab and go on my way into the office!

Gave them the benefit of the doubt as I'd eaten here a few times. In last 4 times not only did I notice and point out they don't refrigerate their shipment of chicken and just leave it out in the sun. Today I got a mouthful of long black hair in my sandwich and spat it out, and there were more in the sandwich. Got a full refund but that's absolutely the last time I eat here. You've all been warned!

It's a popular small restaurant that is famous for its sandwiches. The food is good and well priced with great potion sizes. I would recommend their rice bowls, they are flavourful and packed with goodness that will keep you full throughout the day. Their chicken soup is popular in winter, but it tastes somewhat diluted and lack the heartiness that I would expect from chicken soups.

My first visit had a long wait time, but it was only to wait for a home-made prawn katsu (in a cute sandwich!). It was really good, and certainly worth the wait. Their juices are great, would recommend the orange juice for a creamy refreshing treat! The pricing is decent, especially for how the meals are prepped. Not a lot of seats inside, so good for take away. But, if you do happen to sit inside or wait for your meal inside, the atmosphere and decor of the shop are both really lovely! Would definitely recommend!

This tiny little cafe serves delicious katsu sandos. If you didn’t know it was there, you might miss it while walking past. There isn’t a lot of seating in there so if it’s busy, you can always order take away and eat nearby. There are plenty of outside options in Darlinghurst. We got the prawn katsu and pork katsu sandos and they did not disappoint.
